Samantha Mishne, LISW-S, LICDC-CS has focused on the treatment of adult and adolescents for over 20 years. She has spent the last 10 years specializing in using dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She is also an adjunct faculty member at Jack, Joseph & Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Science @ Case Western Reserve University for over 14 years. Samantha has presented at national conferences on the subject of eating disorders and the use of DBT.

DBT Training

The Center for Behavioral Therapy, believes in increasing education around evidenced based treatment models.

Samantha conducts introductory trainings on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adults and adolescents. She is one of seven DBT-Linehan Board of Certifciation therapists in Ohio. She also conducts trainings on techniques for decreasing clinical burn out, evidenced based treatment for eating disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, and blending DBT and family based treatment for eating disorders.

Samantha leads training sessions in a variety of environments, from classrooms to communities and organizations. These training sessions can be offered to mental health professionals and non-professionals, capturing a wide range or ages. Training sessions can be from 1 hour to a full day workshop providing continuing education credit.
